Walt Poucher's 'Finest View In The Lake District'
Crummock Water from Low Fell.
l.tor. Grasmoor, Whiteside, Robinson, Fleetwith Pike, Rannerdale Knotts (the low hill above the lake); the skyline of Brandreth, Green Gable and Great Gable (beyond which, in the cloud, is Great End) with Haystacks in front; High Crag, High Stile and Red Pike; Mellbreak prominent in the foreground with the Pillar range above and beyond. A glimpse of Buttermere beyond Rannerdale Knotts.
Low Fell is where Walt Poucher's ashes were scattered. On this visit there were flowers left on the summit.
