Common Garden Spider
151002P(HDR5086-91) : Araneus diadematus : large females spin the webs : here suspended across our front window in the late aftenoon, the orange orb is nothing more than sunlight reflected off the side wall of a house opposite in extreme de-focus due to use of an extension tube to enable the close-focus.

"Recovering The Boundaries"
One of a dozen or so piles resulting from the owner of our dog-walking field deciding to recover the three to four metres of land overgrown with brambles and shrubs. Most people think that this tree should have been made an exception.
Watting For The Happy Couple
These horses stood like this for what must have been more than an hour while the marriage service took place.
Ancient Chestnut Trees In St Wendreda's Churchyard
Thought to be the oldest in the county. In summer these are the rookery. (Where do they all go in winter?)

An early experiment in using the wi-fi enabled camera atop the monopod, viewing with a mini iPad, to get a high viewpoint.
Christmas Cold Moon 2015
A rare Full Cold Moon lighting up the sky for the first time in 38 years.
The Full Cold Moon is the final full moon of the year and marks the beginning of winter in the Northern Hemisphere.
This was the first time it had fallen on December 25 since 1977. It won't happen again until 2034.
The moon is so bright that even using HDR processing I've been unable to reveal the features on the moon's surface. The remarkable pattern of light in this photo is created by internal reflections in the lens.
